Online Group Classes

A well rounded blend of practices to support you every week from the comfort of your home or wherever you may roam.

Each of these practices are mindful of the traumas people may have experienced. My intention is to guide you through a practice that has you feeling safe in your body and that leaves you feeling at peace.

I welcome you to try a practice or all of them. Just remember, always practice at your pace and remember your breath. I’ll be here if you need a little guidance on your journey within. xoxo

A Slow Flow Yoga & Pilates Practice

This class is choreographed with a few different practices and principles in mind. The flow is designed to increase body awareness, release unnecessary patterns, increase strength, mobility and flexibility. We weave together practices from Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, Pilates, Restorative Yoga, Gentle Yoga and Pranayama.

This is a great practice to incorporate throughout your week. Your nervous system benefits from it, your circulatory system benefits from it, your heart, your physical body, your energy body, your entire being!

Props (optional):

Two yoga blocks can be quite beneficial in this practice, but are not required.

A little love note…

It can be beneficial to have some experience with yoga or pilates prior to participating. If you’re new to the practice, you might consider beginning with a gentle offering or consider a few private sessions before jumping in, but please know you are welcome here regardless of your experience.

A Gentle Practice

A practice in between both worlds. The pace of this practice is slow and gentle. It is worth noting, you may build a little heat within the body throughout your practice and some days you may not. This practice focuses on some of our foundational yoga poses as well as some pilates principles. This offering tends to offer more warm up practices with a little active strengthening work and a good amount of stretching.

Open to all levels and most abilities.

Props (optional):

Props are wonderful space makers for our practice. They help bring the ground a little closer to us in some instances and they can even help to keep our alignment a little safer. I recommend having a couple of yoga blocks, a yoga strap, a blanket and maybe a bolster for savasana.

These props are not required for practice, but can be beneficial to support the growth of your practice.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga utilizes the support of props to help activate your relaxation response, also known as the parasympathetic nervous system. Our parasympathetic state supports our immune system, digestion, heart rate variability, hormone regulation, and much more. As such, this practice can help prepare you for a night of deep rest.

Restorative practices are known to:

  • Deeply relax the body.

  • Release muscular tension, in turn improving mobility and flexibility.

  • Balance the nervous system.

  • Boost the immune system.

Open to all levels and most abilities.

Props:

Props are used in this practice to allow the body, mind and spirit to release and rest well. This practice is welcome to all experience levels and in most states of health.

Please have two to three blankets, a bolster or thick pillows, a yoga strap, and two yoga blocks. If you have any questions regarding props or prop substitutions, please email me at krystle@roamingserenity.com.
