A piece of my story…

Yoga helped me to begin healing my traumas years before I ever made that connection.

I began my practice at a local gym back in 2003. After practicing at various studios and in the comfort of my home for over a decade, I kept feeling a strong desire to share the beauty of this lifestyle. In 2017, I completed my first certification and began teaching locally in and around Orange County, CA. Feeling the profound impact this practice has gifted me, in 2018, I continued my education in Costa Rica and became a certified Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher. That training is where I had my very first flashback of a traumatic event dating back to the age of three. I learned I had been disassociating on and off for many years of my life as a result of those traumatic events. Since then, I’ve felt an even bigger shift in the way I see the world, the way I enjoy life, and every person I get the opportunity to make eye contact with.

It was that very training in Costa Rica where I began to connect the dots. My eyes and my heart opened wide. I could see the ways this beautiful practice was supporting my growth, and it has become my motivation for sharing these teachings with you. I believe we are all capable of growth, healing, love, kindness and enjoying this beautiful life.

After teaching for a variety of different studios and Corporations (Vans HQ, Encore, Rolls Royce & more), along with requests from clients to bring these practices online, Roaming Serenity was born. The name came to me with ease one day in 2019, and I began building what you see here today— a space to continue sharing these practices wherever one might choose to roam in the world.

The practices I guide range from hatha & vinyasa yoga, gentle yoga, restorative yoga, sound healing, TRE (trauma release exercise), yoga nidra, pranayama (controlled breathing), meditation and a little pilates. My intention in every practice is to support the home within you, guiding you to your sense of inner peace.

Thank you for taking the time to read a piece of my story. Sending you a sea full of love, light & warm heart hugs! xoxo

Love,

Privates sessions can incorporate any of the practices referenced above in my bio. This is also a great way to incorporate somatic TRE practices as they are not offered in our online small group classes.
